Kari Wuhrer (aka Kari Salin) stars as Maggie Beckett, a skilled fighter pilot and intelligence officer in the U.S. Marine Corps who joins the Sliders after her home world is destroyed in the sci-fi adventure series, SLIDERS. Wuhrer has been with the series for the last three seasons.

The actress has an extensive resume of feature film credits including Anaconda in which she co-starred with Jennifer Lopez and Jon Voight; John Singleton's Higher Learning; Kissing a Fool with David Schwimmer; Phoenix with Ray Liotta and Angelica Houston; The Disappearance of Kevin Johnson; An Occasional Hell with Tom Berenger; and in The Crossing Guard under Sean Penn's direction as Jack Nicholson's liaison. In addition, she performed opposite Joe Mantegna in Stephen King's Thinner.

Wuhrer is also known to television audiences as the sexy host of MTV's Remote Control for two seasons. In addition, Wuhrer was a series regular on the Fox series Class of '96 and had a recurring role on Beverly Hills 90210.

In addition to acting, Wuhrer's other passion is music and has recorded an album, entitled "Shiny."

Originally from Brookfield, Connecticut, Wuhrer currently resides in Los Angeles.
